LAYERS

Sweater Weather

Hey, missed you…been away due to unavoidable circumstances. There were tribal clashes at my school which led to confrontation with the GSU “leta fujo, uone”which later led to indefinite school closure. Some experience I had, I never thought that I would be caught in the 20mins “pack n leave” kinda situation.

Afterwards I decided to give myself some time off by traveling to shags and spending time with my mum. It was great, network was limited, the place was so serene and stress free and I just got back, feeling like a whole new person. Feeling better and glad that my friends and classmates made it back safely.
For this post, thought I should explore on the many ways of wearing a sweater dress and at the same time adding layers to the sweater. 1 sweater, 7 ways.
1.SimpleChic
Simply wearing a sweater dress with a scarf, stockings and boots. It’s comfy and easy to pull.

2.SlimBelt Layer
You may feel the sweater is lose and so free, how about add a slim belt to the look. Slim belt holds the sweater in a position that best fits. It is amazing how huge the scarf is, can go all the way to my head, adding warmth and a good feeling to the look.

3.Belt On A Scarf
Playing around with the scarf and layering. To ensure the scarf doesn’t get blown away by the wind, or you don’t struggle holding it into place every second. The belt can save you the hustle, plus it’s stylish.

4&5.Sweater Top
You can choose to wear your sweater dress as top or as a v-neck sweater on a skirt. The sweater can be tucked in a skirt either neatly or loosely. Both ways are chic and fine.

6.College Girl
Dressed like a typical student by adding a long coat layer to the sweater dress. It’s exciting especially cause of the color combo and also vibrant.

7.Bow&Belt
You can get creative with your sweater by recreating it to a sleeveless dress. It’s allowed, add a unique and fun touch to your sweater dress. I tied the sleeves of my sweater to make a bow. Added the scarf to cover my back and chest from the cold.
