A few days ago, a friend of mine came to my place asking for what to wear for an interview. The first thing I could think of was the color black, so I told her a black below the knee length, not tight skirt and a black plain chiffon blouse would be okay. On shoes I thought of low-heeled shoes that are closed and simple.
In mind, this particular combo seemed so neat and just perfect for an interview. But there was a problem, my friend didn’t have any of the above. It hit me that I too didn’t have any official skirts in my closet.
Whoa this is serious! What if I was the one going for the interview? This question has been on my mind ever since that day and I’ve been working on getting proper official wear and in good time there will be posts about official wear here.
I don’t know if you’ve noticed but of late I have been working on my site, this blog, to make it better and easier for you to enjoy every time you stop by.The renovation is not yet complete but you can view, share and stop by anytime. Let me know on what you think about the changes I’ve made.
I am wearing an Ankara skirt that is pencil and has a front slit with a chiffon blouse, navy-blue coat and platform heels. For this post I took photos with two different devices, first with my phone then with a Sony camera, It’s a long story though…

N.B:This look is not for an interview, the blouse and coat could work but the Ankara skirt won’t. Full Interview looks will be up soon on the blog.
Thanks for stopping by, Toodles!
