Hallo there…
During this unusual weather, there are a few things you should keep in mind.To avoid being caught unaware by the events preceding heavy rains:
1.Carry a coat and an umbrella with you even when the sun is so hot,you never know you might reach in town or in another estate and find it’s raining.Though an umbrella might not be a “man’s thing”,Compromise with the situation.Everyone needs to have an umbrella and even gumboots if possible.
2.Always carry extra cash, fares are prone to hicking anytime of the day.It is as unpredictable as from 50shs to 200shs mark you at noon.
3.Own a power bank and ensure it’s always full, whenever it starts raining power goes out.
4.Ensure your electronic appliances are always off at the main switch whenever power goes out or when you leave the house and there’s no one else in the house or when you go to sleep.Water and electricity have never been friends.
5.As you plan your activities of the day, ensure you have alternative choices. Traffic jams are crazy at the moment, when you hear someone sat in a matatu from 7pm to 2am,know it is that chaotic.
Other than that, one very important thing we should all remember to do everyday is praying even just in 5words.Pray for the families that have no shelter due to floods. Pray to God to be with you and your family and the house you live in.
I am wearing a blue top that has got a little secret, which I’ll be revealing on my next post.I am also wearing a plaid mini-skirt, brown coat and black pumps.Added highlights to my look by wearing a black scarf which is fringed.Tied a silver belt at my stomach to give the top a fine look and wore a round silver ring which blends with the silver belt.
