A 60s Outfit

image

TBT/FBF is a category on this blog that stands for Throwback Thursday/Flashback Friday.Sort of incorporating vintage wear into modern outfits.Going back in time on how our parents and grandparents used to dress. However, you might have realized that in the current generation Fashion trends are being repeated, though in a more colorful manner with sophisticated highlights.

Take the example of stilletos and denim, this two are amazingly always trending. For the past few days I’ve been going through some of the pictures from Chanel’s runway campaign, got me quite inspired.
I went back in time for today’s look.In the late 50s and early 60s dresses had a conservative length which was considered proper. Later in the 60s as Fashion progressed the dress length kept reducing till mini was the in thing in late 60s.This was prominent in school uniforms which was really stylish btw.It was way way back when Photos were black&white.
I am wearing a navy blue apron dress with classic white blouse and boyfriend shoes(oxford shoes).Added a short Chanel necklace and a navy blue hat. Carried a printed back pack.
